* Paper lanterns are sent flat, and can be folded flat for storage so you can use over and over again!

* Opening your Silk lantern can be tricky, please follow the guidelines.

 
Your Lantern will arrive just like this photo, flat packed. Remove it from the plastic

 

 

Place your lantern on a hard surface, with the wire end on top

  

Push the lantern down against the hard surface, until the wire hanger is exposed.

    

Hook the one side of the wire hanger into the groove provided, then hook the other end in. Make sure that you push the wire hanger as far into the groove as you possibly can.

       

                

When finished, your Sik lantern should look like this. Either a diamond, round, olive, onion or cylinder shape.

                                                                                                                           

 ****  Note:  we open and check each lantern in the warehouse before sending.  This also helps to soften the bamboo a little to make it easier for you to erect. 

****  The lantern can look uneven if you have used more pressure on one side when opening.  You can adjust by gently pushing on the timber bulb at bottom to even it out, or close it up and start again.
